I need to cut off my ear...
ok, not exactly...
I've been nursing an ear ache since last week, went to the doctor on Friday, and found out I have an ear canal infection...gross
and its all a little white piece of plastic's fault...
Kaitlin is home for the summer from college and with her came a dorm room full of stuff...
including these cute little things called ear buds.
Now being someone who is perpetually "behind the times" (our tv still has a dial) the fact that I don't have an ipod shouldn't surprise anyone...so when these cute little ear buds suddenly appeared on the coffee table, I thought, "let's jump into the 20th century and give these cute little ear buds a try!" (I know, its the 21st century).
So, I found one of the kids ipod and popped those cute little ear buds in my ears. And what did those cute little ear buds leave behind? A cesspool of cute little bacteria in my poor ear canal.
A few days later, I asked Kaitlin, "by the way, who's been wearing your ear buds besides you?"
and she looked at those cute little ear buds and said, "Those aren't mine. I found them on the sink counter in the dorm bathroom (home to about 48 girls), and I just forgot to turn them into lost and found before I left school."
I'm going back to 20th century...
